Hello and welcome to my blog!
I’m in my second year here at Marjon studying Theatre Production and I’m loving it! I wanted to create this blog so that I can reflect on my experiences and have a record of what I’ve been doing. Hopefully this will enable me to look back and see what went well or not so well and it’ll be a fun exercise too! So, what I’m going to do is write about our sessions and include a weekly blog about what we’re doing. Plus, we’ll be making short clips to show our activities and you get to see our acting and performance practice. I’m going to include hints and tips from around the web and look at researching how other students from around the UK blog about Theatre Production. Sort of do’s and don’ts, well that’s the idea anyway! 🙂 😛

And, for me – I like the acting side of the production process, although we’ll all be learning about everything from the stage setup to the capture and equipment to lighting. We’ve been tasked with setting up our own production company as part of our work, so it’s quite a challenge!
This blog is a great opportunity for me to explore acting
What do I ultimately want from this blog? Well, I want to help other students who might be stuck for ideas and just share my own experiences openly. It’ll be like riding a wave, there will be ups and downs along the way, but it’s a journey not a destination. So, we’re all in it together!
