The new English superstar

Within the rise of Jadon Sancho, he had a big decision in 2017 to stay at Manchester City a team that are ripping apart the Premier league and get limited first team action or leave his comfort zone and move to a new country to Borussia Dortmund.

After he made a lifechanging decision to leave Pep Guardiola side and move to Germany for a fee around £10 million, he hasn’t looked back since. Within a month of signing, Sancho made his first team debut coming off the bench with 6 minutes remaining against Frankfurt. His first start didn’t come into January the following year marking it in a 0-0 draw against rivals Wolfsburg. His first goal didn’t come into April where he scored against Bayern Leverkusen and assisted two goals and was awarded man of the match. His form was awarded with a bumper new contract keeping him in Germany to at least 2022.

The 2018-2019 season was Jadon Sancho breakout with him landing German player of the month for October by registering three goals and assist in just three league games. So far this season in 11 appearance he’s registered 4 goals.

This superb form was recognised by the three lions boss Gareth Southgate and was called up to the squad. He made his debut away in Croatia with 15 minutes remaining in a 0-0 draw.  Then got his start against the United States registering an assist and never stopped running and was highly impressive during the game.

The move too Germany looks a great move for young Jadon Sancho as he is now flourishing into one of the best young players around and looks like a big miss for Manchester City.
