Déjà vu for The Pilgrims?

By Lewis Rogers

Since the turn of the New Year, Plymouth Argyle fans are delighted to witness their club mount a surge up the Sky Bet League One table. After a woeful start to the 2018-19 campaign, a turnaround in typical Derek Adams fashion is well underway. The Green Army have only witnessed their side fall to defeat in one fixture in 2019, accumulating an impressive 20 of a possible 24 points, placing them third in the League One form table.

The question on the majority of Argyle’s fans minds is, is playoffs a possibility? Going off the previous season there is every chance, after Derek Adams men narrowly missing out on The Playoffs by the skin of the teeth on goal difference after an abysmal start to the 2017-18 campaign. Plymouth’s forward thinking players seem to have a telepathic understanding of one another when it comes to creating chances which really juxtaposes the first half of the season. A back four that leaked goals previously now seem to have built a solid partnership as the season has progressed. We are now in February and are inching ever closer to crunch time at the end of the season, so where will Derek Adams’ men finish come may? We spoke to Argyle supporter, Elliot Greed to get his thoughts on what has become another rollercoaster of a season for Plymouth Argyle.
