Lights Getting Brighter

The finishing line is almost in sight for Argyle and manager Ryan Lowe has accentuated the need for consistency and how they must take every game as it comes if they are to succeed this season.

Cambridge United visit Home Park in Sky Bet League Two today and victories on our own patch will provide the obvious platform for a promotion push over the final two months of the campaign.

“We can’t look past Cambridge, we’ve got to make sure we show them the utmost respect and then we’re on the road again the following week to Bradford – so it’s going to be tough,” said Ryan.

“We’ve got seven home games that are big and important for us, with the fans behind us and the way we’ve played at home – we need to continue our home form.

“We know that when the games start ticking down, it’s a case of what do you need, how are we going to get there, how will we accumulate those points.

“As we’ve said all season, if we can pick points up away from home also, we’ll be a happy camp. Ultimately, we can’t look past Cambridge and we’ve got to take them all as they come. I think we can start to see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.”
