Create a PDF file

Lots of students access LearningSpace on their mobiles using the Moodle app or their browser. With this in mind it is a good idea to upload PDF files rather than Word, Excel or PowerPoint files to your module page. Doing so means that students are able to view the content online without having to download any files or have the relevant software installed.

How to create a PDF file

  • Open your file (Word, Excel or PowerPoint)
  • Click File – Save as
  • Select PDF from the file type drop down list
  • Navigate to the location you want to save it
  • Click Save
