Today in placement we spoke about what we had discussed in our student support meeting. Are placement supervisor suggested that we need to try and attend more placement meetings to get more knowledge of how talk to people that come for help and what we can offer.
In the next coming weeks we will be going to the hospital to hand out some flyers for the patients there. I feel that this is good as it can give patients a lot of options for what they can do and also gives them a chance to speak to people.
We was also told that we need to organise a meeting with criminology lecture as they have done the same project as we are doing now. They have each year mentoring each other and have been doing it for more than a year so by us having a meeting we can gather information about what can work and won’t work.
I feel that this project it coming on so well as it can open up students options and give everyone help and a chance to speak. I’m proud to be one of the students that is working on this project.
