About Me

My name is Sophie Richards and I am a 20 year old student at the Plymouth Marjon University. I am currently in my first year studying Sports Rehabilitation. I chose to study this subject because I wanted to be able to help prevent and aid injuries within athletes and the general public. After completing this course I hope to be able to work as part of a sports team and eventually run my own clinic.

In my spare time I like to keep myself occupied with doing exercise classes such as Pilates and spin classes. This helps me to keep my head clear whenever I am feeling stressed. After these classes I feel refreshed and ready to tackle whatever issue was bothering me in the first place.

I also have a part time job at the Jurys Inn Plymouth. I have worked here for the past 3 years and my role includes serving guests within the restaurant and bar. This position has enabled me to gain confidence with talking to people I do not know, being able to solve issues quickly and efficiently and to be able to work as part of a team.
