Winter Olympics Excludes 3rd Athlete For Doping

Slovenia ice hockey player Ziga Jeglic is the 3rd athlete to be excluded from the Winter Olympics

Ziga Jeglic, 29, an Ice Hockey player from Slovenia tested positive for Fenoterol, which is a banned drug that used as medication against asthma. This drug is used to open up the airwaves which when used is going to give Jeglic an advantage against his opponents.

He has been given 24 hours to leave the Olympic village permanently and was considered one of Slovenia’s best players. The news of Jeglic testing positive came in just before Slovenia took on Norway, now the Slovenian team will have to carry on the games without one of their best players.
