This is a list and brief overview of a few blogs that inspire me professionally. They are also good if you are an aspiring PE teacher, or just want to develop yourself as a coach!

 

Youth Sport Trust (YST) Blog – This particular blog interests me as it includes the type of work I wish to gain experience in. The blog gives you an insight into working with primary and secondary age people, but it also gives an insight with working with SEN (special educational needs) individuals. I take great pride when coaching individuals as I am making an impact on their life, and so knowing I am giving them the skills they can use later in life inspires me to take this career pathway.

Sport England Blogs – These particular blogs highlight the importance of coaching all ages of individuals. It also shows the significant impact on getting people physically active form a young age and the consequences it has on those individuals. This is a part of the sporting field that I would aspire to be a part of.

UK Coaching Blogs – These particular blogs inspire me as they highlight the specific skills and attributes an individual needs in order to develop as a coach. This is very important to me as I am an aspiring coach myself, and therefore I take these type of blogs very seriously.

Coaching Logic Blog –  This blog is similar to the UK coaching blog as it also highlights specific attributes an individual needs in order to develop as a coach. However, this blog gives more first hand experience as a coach and they day to day challenges that they face.

The PE Blog – This blog gives first hand experience on the day to day lives of PE teachers in the UK. There are experiences, skills and tips on teaching primary school and secondary school PE. This is something I am very interested in as I am thinking of entering the field of physical education following my degree.
