Role Description: One of the UK’s oldest Charities, based in the heart of Devon, Hannahs is dedicated to empowering and providing children, young people and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities with life–changing opportunities and advocating their needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Physiotherapist to work alongside our physiotherapist and physiotherapy assistants. You will share a case load: assessing, developing, implementing and monitoring individualised therapy programmes within the children’s and adult’s services. There is a supportive interdisciplinary therapy team, managed by a ‘Head of Therapy’ with opportunities for further training and continuing professional development.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with other team members. Experience of working with complex disability is preferable but not essential.

Job Title:Technician: Media Hub

Salary: £18,940 – £20,624 a year

Role Description: The Faculty of Arts & Humanities has a vacancy for a Technician in our Media Hub.

This role provides front-line counter support, advice and guidance to Faculty students and staff with their requests for: film, photographic and audio-visual equipment loans.

As a Technician at University of Plymouth you will be expected to ensure that technical support is of the highest standard to enhance the student experience and employability of our students, and the reputation of the School, Faculty and University.

You will be educated to NVQ/BTEC 3/4, Level or equivalent and will have practical experience and knowledge gained from study within a creative arts area e.g. Film, Photography, AV work.

You will be required to manage assets, order and manage stock materials and produce information for our Moodle (VLE) and therefore must be numerate, literate and accurate with English.

Additionally, the role will directly support other colleagues within and outside of the Faculty in the preparation of materials for Faculty shows and exhibitions.
