Job Title: Production Advisors

Role Description: University of Plymouth has two exciting vacancies for a Production Adviser role, working within the University’s Multimedia Production Team.

As a key member of this team you will help to provide a high-quality, effective and responsive multimedia service to customers throughout the University. In particular, you will be responsible for, shooting, editing and producing video and other multimedia artefacts whilst working with customers across the University to enable the delivery of high quality digital output and enable the university to compete in a fast-moving digital world.

You will have, excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience of producing and editing high- quality video and animation. You will have excellent organisational skills, communication and inter-personal skills, pay high attention to detail, and be committed to team working but also able to work independently and use your initiative.

You will be an effective team player who enjoys working in a busy and challenging environment where a calm manner and collaboration are essential. You should have the ability to self-prioritise and work independently to productively manage high volume workloads.

Travel off-campus as well as some evening and weekend work, will be required in order to cover scheduled filming events.

These are full-time posts working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Job Title: Administration Assistant

Role Description: This post is based within the Faculty of Business. You will support the Senior Support Administrator in the School of Law, Criminology and Government, you will also work on the reception counter supporting the programme administration team and receiving visitors to the Faculty of Business.

You will have experience of working in an office having undertaken a wide variety of general office and administrative tasks and experience of providing a service. You should have good written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are also a requirement. Good customer service skills are essential as well as a good level of IT ability. You should be able to work using your own initiative and as part of the team.

The role will involve financial administration using the relevant university systems, booking travel and accommodation, assisting academic staff, organising and servicing meetings, assisting with the running of multiple generic inboxes.

This is full time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Key Areas of Accountability
•Create and develop campaigns that can be used to extend brand reach whilst supporting the Marketing Coordinator and Ecommerce manager.

•Write creative, sharable, humorous, original and inspiring blog content on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate grammar at all times.
•Using the marketing calendar you will need to schedule social media platforms on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
•Report on each of the social channels progress on a weekly basis seeking new and exciting opportunities to improve social presence.
•Attend charitable and significant events on behalf of the company documenting such events live on social media.
•Contact brand representatives with regards to new products, lifestyle imagery, promotions and POS.
•Visiting stores and the local areas for up to date photography and ideas for the social media channels.
•Utilising and becoming an expert in all available and appropriate social media channels.
•Keeping up to date with developments in social media and advising the team on which would be beneficial.
•Ensuring you measure ROI as much as possible and report back to management.
•Writing engaging and client-appropriate content on each social post, sourcing relevant images/video content.
•Uploading content on to the company website and digital newsletters.
•Be aware of your local market and competitors. Ensure all feedback concerning opportunities and commercial threats is provided in a timely and professional manner.
•Use your annual objectives plan to seek personal development and ensure time is given to achieve your own objectives
