This was the second half of open clinic for one hour.
I cleaned and set up the work station from the previous client, then went through the consultation form with the client. They came into clinic complaining of calf and hamstring muscle pain. They explained that they experienced the easing factors of foam rolling, applying heat and standing at their desk rather than sitting. Regarding treatment, the client received a soft tissue massage on their calf muscles and hamstrings. To begin, I applied 5 minutes of effleurage, followed by 10 minutes of petrissage, followed by 5 minutes of tapotements, followed by 5 minutes of stretching (PIR of the gastrocnemius, soleus, and hamstrings).
Areas for Improvement
Spending too long going through the consultation form.
What can I do next?
Use more abbreviations when writing on the consultation form to speed up the process.
