Within this hour and a half session, I treated 2 people. This session was conducted in the Marjon Sports Therapy Clinic.
The clients came forth wanting to try out K-Taping for different reasons. The first client asked if I would be able to take their lower back, to see if it would support the gym. As such, I decided to use K-Tape. I gathered the tape and safety scissors, measured the tape to the correct length and then cut accordingly. Placing the tape on the back, I ensured I didn’t stretch the first and last 3cm of the tape. The second client asked if I would be able to tape their achilles.
Areas for Improvement
When taping the achilles, I found it hard to hold the tape and not touch the sticky side, due to singular piece of tape being more complex.
What can I do next?
Practise cutting and holding the tape, and getting it right first time.
