You have probably heard of beach clean-ups, you may have even taken part in one, but what Tony Sickelmore had in mind was going one step farther.
Not long after he joined Port of Plymouth Canoe Association, he saw an opportunity to clean the coastal areas that could only be accessed via the water.
21 kayakers joined him on the first Plymouth coastal clean-up in July 2018. Due to the amount of rubbish they collected on this trip, Tony felt the need to organize a second one in September and he hopes to do many more in the near future.
