You’re not the only one.
Millions of O2 mobile network users have been losing their data services after O2 suffered technical issues.
And of course, people were upset. And how do we complain about our problems? Twitter.
Many users took to twitter to protest about the lack of data access, which first occurred at 5:30 this morning.
An O2 spokesperson said a software issue identified by a third-party supplier was to blame for the outage.
For people whose job relies on data network to manage and connect are finding this technical issue damaging to their job and calling their day ‘wasted.’ One twitter user is even asking for compensation from the mobile network.
Despite the amount of upset it has caused amongst its users, some people have welcomed the break.
One O2 customer reminisced about the past where people weren’t wandering around, glued to their phones like zombies, and actually having a conversation with someone.
I hope @O2, whilst investigating the issues with their 4G network, are also thinking about compensating customers for this major issue. I use my phone for work and missed important emails! A genuine lack of communication and major FAIL by @O2 ?#O2 #o2down

O2 have said that they are looking to their technical teams to fix the issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, they ask their customers to use WIFI wherever possible and apologise for the inconvenience.
