Liverpool vs West Ham Preview

JURGEN KLOPP is likely to start youngster Rhys Williams in a new look centre back pairing due to injuries to both Fabinho and Joel Matip.

Fabinho was rushed off in the reds less-than-inspiring 2-0 win over Danish side FC Midtjylland and are lacking their Dutch wall Van Dijk for a lengthy period. This means Jurgen Klopp has only one senior defensive option against The Hammers

West Ham have also been hurt by the congested fixture schedule. Michail Antonio will be missing through injury but they arrive at Anfield with a four-game unbeaten run behind them.

West Ham will be looking to end Liverpool’s unbeaten home run in the Premier League which stretches all the way back to 2017.

A win for Liverpool will see them go top of the league before Merseyside rivals Everton play their game tomorrow away to Newcastle.
