Over the weekend of 18th and 19th March, National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth opened its doors for free
Funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, allowed the weekend to go ahead.
The ticketed event provided the opportunity for thousands families to learn about the sea and what lives within it. It was also a chance for them to thank the community and celebrate their achievements of the past year.
Throughout the day there was a variety of different events, from an activity sheet, to educational talks scheduled throughout the the day.
A ticket for the event also provides access to the Aquarium for a year, allowing access, and an opportunity during the cost of living.
