The Depo, Casa – Summer series returns with a BANG!

As the summer of 2025 approaches, all eyes and ears should be on The DepØ In the Southwest. A schedule with huge headlines and big DJ’s, Plymouth’s biggest live event venue has a whole lot of new and exciting parties to announce, going from rooftop raves to partying on an island. The venues well-known Casa events have quickly built a loyal fan base with huge nights presenting SOSA, Gaskin, Paige Tomlinson and many more! The Depo is making itself a go to place for all the locals and plenty of tourists looking to make the most of their summer 2025.

The Depo is quite a small and intimate venue, however, holds one of the best atmospheres in Devon. With its brilliant LED lights and quirky visuals, it brings a great vibe while being close and personal with the DJ.

Depo’s Casa events have recently gained lots more recognition in recent months, with two huge announcements. The first one will take place on the 4th of May on their newly built open-air club. This is held on the rooftop of The Depo and has a very unique and retro look to it. It has access to a car you can get inside, a giant connect four, a mini golf course and even a phone booth where you can choose to play music inside of! Apart from festivals, this is the only open-air venues in Devon, which is creating a huge excitement among people in the Southwest.

The second announcement from The Depo is in a location devon locals thought was never possible. This party is going to be held on the well-known Drakes Island. This thrilling event sold out in a matter of minutes and it something Plymouth has never seen before. The Drakes Island rave will take place on the 5th of July and has two stages. One stage being on top of the island and the second being inside secret tunnels within the island.

The event will be held for three days. Saturday the 5th , Sunday the 6th and Saturday the 12th. Tickets have sold out for the first two days with just a few left for 12th of July. Tickets sit at a reasonable price of £55.69 per person. This includes the boat ride to the island and back and seven hours of house music from 2pm till 9pm.

At both of these events, the acts will be the likes of Owen Price, Ryan Platts, Louis Costa and more. These DJs are signed by Casa and have a very bright future ahead of them.

Casa, meaning “House” in Spanish is a great label and is growing at a rapid rate. They hold different events all year round going from regular raves to boiler rooms to outdoor events and more. This is only the beginning for the popping house events at The Depo.

The Depo, located down the well-known Union Street, was once known as Crash Manor, before undergoing a large renovation. This created the dance floor to be extended, a horse shaped staircase at the back of the club, new bars upstairs and downstairs, a VIP area and a large smoking area. The renovation also created a very nice aesthetic and vibe with many cool decorations keeping to the black and yellow theme.

Casa events are a great place for creating memories and giving people a space to share their talent. Each event is a different experience while keeping the same high energy atmosphere.  Here are some of the previous Casa events…

  • Paige Tomlinson (March 29th, 2025) Well known for her high energy and fast paced electro beats. Played at large labels like Paradise and Defected, Paige brought her talent to The Depo to share the decks with Owen Price, Ryan Platts and Félix.
  • Luke Dean (May 5th, 2024) Recognised for his deep basslines and catchy “Doink” sound. Luke is known for sitting on plenty of unreleased tunes that the public are waiting on to be released. Played at plenty of the biggest places and festivals in the world like Creamfields, DC-10 and more.
  • Gaskin (November 30th, 2024) With his loved label Bass Jamz, Gaskin brought all the heat to dancefloor when he arrived in Plymouth. Sharing the stage with Casa residents, Ryan Platts, Louis Costa, Félix, Owen Price and Wallis Ryan.
  • Enzo Is Burning (September 28th, 2024) The Minimal-tech master has shown out at plenty of big parties like Elrow, Kaluki, ABODE and plenty of festivals too. Enzo threw a successful and crazy party with a boiler room type vibe in The Depo.
  • Alisha (January 27th, 2024) Alisha is well known for her deep low-end basslines with records signed to big labels like Hot creations, Kaluki, Eastenderz and more. Alisha impressed plenty of Plymouth residents with her 360-degree party she threw on Depo’s dancefloor.

 

The Depo’s Casa events are elevating Plymouth’s night life and looks extremely promising for the future. They are on a rapid excel to the top and are only getting started. The Depo is about to make big change in the Devon music scene and are really putting Plymouth on the map.
