Post to the announcements forum

Each module page in LearningSpace has an announcements forum for staff to share general news and announcements with students.  When you post to the forum students enrolled on the course will receive notification via email and/or mobile

How to post to the forum

  1. Click the announcements forum
  2. Add a new topic
  3. Enter a subject and message
  4. If you want to add an image to your post, click the image icon in the toolbar and follow onscreen instructions
  5. Add files (optional)
  6. If you want your announcement to remain at the top of the forum, check the ‘Pinned’ checkbox
  7. If you want to send notification emails immediately, check the ‘Send forum post notifications with no editing-time delay’ checkbox
  1. If you want your post to display for a limited time rather than permanently, select start/end dates and times in the display period section
  2. Click ‘Post to forum’
