APA Guides

From September 2020, Plymouth Marjon University will use the 7th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) Publication Manual as its default referencing style. Please refer to the the Marjon APA Guidance when referencing your academic work (below), or otherwise consult the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition) or Official APA guidance.

 

The guidance for the 6th edition of the APA Publication Manual will be temporarily available for students who are still engaging with assignments and modules which commenced before the 2020-21 academic year.

Guidance for the users of the 6th edition of the APA Publication Manual

This guidance should only be used by students who are still engaging with modules and assignments which commenced before the 2020-21 academic year. Unless advised by your tutor, all students engaging with new courses and new module from September 2020 should refer to the 7th edition of the APA referencing guidance.
