Strengths
- I have good communication skills as a whole as I regularly have to engage with different people, both adults and children in all three of my jobs.
- I use time-management effectively to ensure I complete all my university assignments, work and play for a netball team.
- I am organised and use lists to prioritize what needs to be done first.
Weaknesses
- I have an issue with listening and sometimes talk other others about another subject.
- I lose confidence when I am being observed for my coaching or teaching. This means that my true passion and ability is not always reflected in the session.
- I have a limited knowledge of certain sports which means I sometimes struggle to coach an effective session.
Opportunities
- I will be working back at Ultimate Camp over summer, this will help to develop my coaching further and my knowledge of different sports.
- I am hoping to return to my old secondary school again to volunteer in the physical education department. During this I will lead plan and lead parts of the lesson with the supervision of the staff which will help build my confidence.
- I have started helping at a local rounders session on Thursday nights for the public, I predominately umpire but help run activities in the session too if needed.
Threats
- Not getting a placement for my second year.
