Relevant Blogs

Here are a list of great blog sites that I have found interesting during my first year as a sports therapy undergraduate student.

Ben Jane’s fitness blogs have been really useful for my physiology module during Semester A

I really like this magazine style site where lots of interesting blogs on all things sports therapy, rehab and physiotherapy can be found.  The site also has interesting podcasts too:

Lots of interesting blogs on the Brighton Sports Therapy blog page, in particular a blog about stretching and a blog about Ben Smith (the modern day Forest Gump) and how his body was coping with the challenge of running 401 marathons in 401 days:

Another blog site that I stumbled across with lots of useful blogs by Mike Reinold, a physical therapist.  The site also contains podcasts.  I enjoyed his review of Leon Chaitow’s book on Muscle Energy Techniques:

I enjoyed reading blogs regarding using a foam roller, to k-tape or not to k-tape and the benefits to athletes of pre-and post-event massage on the massage physio blog section.  The blogs are easy to understand and very concise:
