Welcome to 5 ways to wellbeing

Welcome to the Marjon family.  We are a close knit community and your health and wellbeing is our priority.  That’s why we developed this site for new students to Marjon – to recognise the importance of social, physical and mental health for all students as they begin University and help students to feel balanced and connected.  We think the ideas and support available from here will make a difference to your happiness and ongoing success.

On this site, you will find:-

  • An introduction to each of the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’ (developed by the NEF) – Connect, Give, Be Active, Be Curious and Keep Learning
  • Suggestions on how to keep yourself well through using those concepts as a starting point
  • Calendar of some of the University events (September-December 2020) that will help you to begin to feel like part of the Marjon family and start the connections, activity and learning
  • Support and advice for when you need a little extra help – remember asking for help is often the first step to taking back control when things feel out of balance
