After what seemed like a whirlwind year, the M4TM project partners met to receive warm Lithuanian hospitality and a refocus on the project aims and objectives. Another opportunity was provided to observe mathematics teaching and learning in a different ,from normal, context and to build further on the developing friendships and networks that will drive the project forward over the next couple of years.

Shop until you drop! 2nd Transnational meeting Arahal -Sevilla January 15th-17th 2018
Barely three months after the first inaugural M4TM project meeting held in Tavistock, Devon, the partners met to build further on the initial meeting, seeking to ensure that we were all clear on the intellectual outputs, objectives and aims of the projects. As we move to a world of chip and pin, and contactless purchases, it was also good to see Spanish children enjoying their maths and using real life items to help build understanding of money and the process of buying and selling. Fantastic hospitality shown from our Spanish hosts. So much to do however confidence and clarity is building.
