Week 1: Initial Assessment/Orientation/Goal setting
Complete a health questionnaire, get to meet the team, Initial measures (BP, HR, Body composition etc), intro to exercise, walking, intro to pedometers. Collaborative planning of programme activities.

Week 2: Exercise is for Life
Pedometer diary reflections, walking, exercise intensity workshop, weekly activity task, weekly food task (complete food questionnaire), team task (think about the best resource you’ve found and bring it or a link to it, in next week)

Week 3: Cardio variety
Reflections on last weeks task, intro to gym-based cardiovascular machines (technique, intensity, safety and effectiveness), Lactate Threshold. Weekly activity task, weekly food task (bring in two new recipes).

Reflections on last weeks task, complete an activity session with more independence (but under supervision!), weekly task

Reflections on the programme, revisit initial measures from week 1. Agree new goals.
