Excitement is mounting as the Plymouth Marjon University Basketball team prepare to take on their old rivals, The University of Plymouth.
James Noble, chair of the Marjon Basketball team said. “It’s one of our big rivalry games, the first of the year with Plymouth Uni. There’s always a lot of excitement and apprehension building up to these games.”
Recent history gives Marjon good reason to be confident as the last time they played Plymouth at Varsity last year Marjon won by a wide margin, at least 40 points. James said. “We’re quite confident today but we’ll see how it goes.
The game will start at 4 o’clock today at the Marjon Sports Centre.
