Plymouth Raiders take on Cheshire Phoenix on Sunday afternoon, looking to recover from three successive defeats.
The Raiders went down 86-77 in Leicester last weekend and have suffered home losses against Glasgow Rocks and Sheffield Sharks in recent weeks.
Cheshire have four wins and six defeats in the league, an identical record to Plymouth, but they have lost their last four games in the league with their last win coming against Sheffield in the cup.
Raiders Coach Danny Magee was optimistic going into the weekend –
He said “Everyone is back from injury now so we now have our full squad to choose from.
“Coming into the Christmas period it’s great to have all the guys back and now we can focus on getting a run together”.
Magee discussed the team ethic and what he is hoping for from the weekend –
“It can be easy to get your head down after a few defeats but this team has a strong bond and we know what we are capable of doing this season.
“I’m confident we will bring our A game on Sunday and give the crowd plenty to cheer for”.
Declan Soukup, Joonas Järveläinen and Josh Wilcher will all be returning from injury on Sunday and you can see them and the rest of the team face off against Cheshire Phoenix at Plymouth Pavilions on Sunday – tip off 3pm
