Clark halls residents have claimed that their flats may become “untenable” after a student has been forced to move out due to their out-of-control fungus flatmate.
The Sports coaching and PE student had complained about the mould in his room numerous times before a solution could be reached.
The affected fresher stated that he got lucky that there was a spare room within the flat and that he worries “all the flats could be untenable by the end of the year”.
Former undergraduate residents of Clark halls paint the picture of the fungi not being a new face within the rooms and blame the lack of proper heating for the issue.
Tenants of Clark halls have also stated that the radiators are “not up to par” with other halls at Marjon and blame their location close to the sports fields as well as the heating for the mould problem.
