Departing Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has admitted in his final press conference as boss that he “didn’t get everything right”.
Speaking about his tenure after managing them since 2020.
The Football Association of Ireland announced that his contract will not be renewed following his final game against New Zealand. Kenny has said he has ‘’no regrets’’ and that ‘’ it’s been a massive privilege and I understood that everyday’’ after summing up his time.
The Irishmen replaced the outgoing Mick McCarthy in April 2020, but the transition was supposed to happen later but due to the postponement of UEFA EURO 2020 due the COVID 19 Pandemic it happened a little earlier.
