The uproar of feminism amiss the 2024 US election has become a viral stance on the social media platform where his podcast has been doxed. Fuentes is a 26-year-old far-right streamer whose live streams with underlying conversation of supremacist, misogynistic and antisemitic viewpoints, a recent video of him celebrating trump reelection caused an uproar due to the statement ‘we will never have a female present … we will keep you down forever’.
The streamers videos have Encouraged the popular hashtag ‘man or bear’ originating from a video saying that they would rather be left alone in an inclosed space with a bear due to the natural impulse to kill rather than a man. The debate sparked concern as the reasons provided all boiled down to the idea of how men act when ‘in secluded situations’. In 2023, over 1 million crimes against women and girls were recorded in the UK, the estimate slowly rising to one in 12 women will fall victim to violence every year.
