Ice cold night for Ange after Chelsea comeback

A great turnaround  from Chelsea after being 2-0 down to finishing the game 4-3. Spurs started the game off well with Striker Dominick Solanke scoring in the fifth minute of the game. Tottenham then followed it up with another goal in the 11th minute by winger Dejan Kulusevski. Jadon Sancho then scored his second ever goal for Chelsea in the 17th minute giving the team a sense of hope ending the first half 2-1. Cole Palmer scored a penalty in the second half which tied the game 2-2. Midfielder Enzo Fernandez sealed the comeback with a goal in the 73rd minute and Palmer scored another penalty in the 84th to make the game 4-2 to Chelsea. Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son scored in added time but it just wasn’t enough for Spurs, the game ended 4-3 and concluded a great result for Chelsea. 

Spurs kicked off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Chelsea. It didn’t  take long for the first goal to go in with Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella slipping and Domike Solanke firing one into the net with Brennan Johnson assisting the goal in the fifth minute. Spurs then scored yet another goal in the 11th minute with Cucurella with another slip leading to winger Dejan Kulusevski scoring the second goal of the game. Tottenham made the first substitution of the game with Cristian Romero coming off for Radu Dragusin. Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho then gave his team some hope by scoring his second goal for the club Cucurella assisted the goal in the 17th minute. Belgium midfielder Romeo Lavia was given a yellow card in the 21st minute and Tottenham’s Pape Sarr in the 30th and that concluded the first half with Spurs leading 2-1 to Chelsea.  

Chelsea kicked off the second half trailing 2-1. In the 59th minute Chelsea were awarded a penalty due to Bissouma fouling Moises Caicedo in the penalty box. Bissouma was given a yellow card and he will now miss the next game. The penalty was taken in the 61st minute and scored by Cole Palmer to make the game 2-2. From being 2-0 down Argintenian midfielder Enzo Fernandez scored in the 73rd minute to make the game 3-2 to Chelsea. In the 84th minute another penalty for Chelsea was awarded, Spurs midfielder Pape Sarr fouled Cole Palmer in the penalty box. Cole Palmer scored the penalty of the game to make the game 4-2 to Chelsea. A yellow card was awarded to Pedro Neto and he will miss Chelsea’s next game. The officials announced there will be a minimum of seven minutes of added time. Moments before the final whistle Spurs then brought one back with a goal from Heung-Min Son and James Maddison assisting the goal. 

The referee blew the whistle to end this seven goal thriller and it finished 4-3 to Chelsea. A great result for Chelsea after being 2-0 down away from home. Chelsea are second in the league and now have won four out of their last five with one draw. Spurs are 11th in the league, this is their third game without a win after losing to Bournemouth in a midweek game 1-0 and drawing to Fulham 1-1.
