Toffees Defeated at Stamford Bridge

Senegal Striker Nicolas Jackson scored the winning goal to secure three points and to strengthen their hope for a Champions League Spot Next Season.

Everton made two changes coming into this match. David Moyes was forced to make a change after the news about defender James Tarkowski being ruled out for the rest of the season with an injury. Beto made a return into the starting lineup due to Amarndo Broja being unable to play against his parent club.

Everton kicked off the first half at stamford bridge. With the fear of relegation not having to be a thought for the toffees this season, the pressure is more on their opponents with their race for a spot in next season’s Champions League. Chelsea made it 1-0 in the 27th minute with Senegal Striker Nicolas Jackon scoring his first goal since December and that concludes a one sided first half with Chelsea leading Everton 1-0.

The Tofees gained a slight improvement in the second half bringing on an attacking change with Carlos Alcaraz for Ndiaye in the 46th minute and Dwight McNeil for Jack Harrison in the 63rd minute however it wasn’t enough to change the game around. Chelsea were victorious over Everton with a 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
