Lewis Hamilton has admitted he has had a “nightmare” first season at Ferrari following his retirement from the Brazilian Grand Prix.
This was following a collision between him and William’s racer Carlos Sainz, where he suffered significant damage to the floor of the car.
The Brit has had a very difficult season so far and is yet to finish on the podium. His only high point of the season so far, was a win in the Chinese sprint race earlier in the season.
“This is a nightmare, and I have been living it for a while”, he told Sky sports post-race. This compounded a horrible day for Ferrari whose other driver Charles Leclerc also retired from the race following contact with Kimi Antonelli.
