Mo Salah’s rant after their 3-3 draw with Leeds where Mo Salah was on the bench for 3rd match in a row. This has caused a lot of debate between Liverpool fans and football fans in general.
We talked to George (18) who is a Middlesbrough fan, about the situation. He said “I think that he’s been kind of viewed as the scapegoat, which i think is potentially fair. I think that there’s a lot deeper problems than just Salah”.
We also talked to Ollie (20) who is a Liverpool fan. He said ”I think every player no matter how much you earn, no matter how many goals you score in previous seasons, I think you should have to earn your place in the team” he continued to say” he has kind of been scapegoated this season”
One thing they both agree is that Salah is in the wrong, but he has been scapegoated by Liverpool by dropping him. However, it would be interesting to see if Salah will ever play for Liverpool again especially with Salah off to AFCON with the Egyptian national team.
