Fans of the smash hit Netflix series Stranger Things were left with mixed feelings at the final episode’s conclusion on New Year’s Eve 2025.
Viewers of the final episode walked away with more questions than answers as the final episode of the show concluded.
This has resulted in fans creating the concept of “Conformity Gate” which is their belief that the ending presented to them wasn’t the true ending of the show due to them being unsatisfied with what they watched, proclaiming that the shown ending was indeed the “fake ending” of the show.
The Duffer Brothers squashed the theories of any future episodes in a recent interview and hinted at more content to come in the franchise such as a future animated series and a spin off series in an attempt to make fans feel satisfied with the ending that they gave them.
