Plymouth argyle have beaten Liverpool 1-0 at Home Park in one of the greatest FA Cup upsets of recent times.
After a scrappy first half the game came to life in the early stages of the second half when Argyle were awarded a penalty after the ball struck Harvey Elliotts arm in the box. Ryan Hardie made no mistake from the spot, sending Liverpool goalkeeper Kelleher the wrong way to give Plymouth the lead.
Hardie nearly made it two soon after, however his shot was turned onto the post by Kelleher.
Liverpool had their best spell of the game in additional time, Diogo Jota had his effort from just outside the box saved by Plymouth keeper Conor Hazard.
Hazard, after hardly having anything to do all game, was then called into action again when he made a remarkable save from Darwin Nunez’s header.
The full time whistle finally went at home park leading to fantastic scenes after the game.
The Greens will find out their next opponent in the FA Cup when the draw is made before the Doncaster v Crystal Palace game Monday evening.
Plymouth will be ball number 10 in the fifth round draw.
