David Haye has announced he has signed a management deal with former heavyweight rival Dereck Chisora.
Haye, 38, and Chisora, 34, drew heavy criticism after a brawl erupted at a conference following Chisora’s defeat to Vitali Klitschko in 2012.
Later that year, the pair had to be separated by a metal fence at media events. Five months later, the fight ended with Chisora getting knocked out.
Although, it seems the bad blood has been forgotten and Chisora believes he has found the “perfect man” to help him step up a level.
Haye went to twitter to allude to the situation, tweeting “Boxing is a sport where inside those ropes, beef can be squashed and replaced with the type of respect forged between two warriors in the heat of battle.”
