Dining-in-Scheme

The Dining-in-Scheme (DIS) offers a great way to manage your money and keep yourself healthy.

More information

What is it?

The DIS card works on a pre-payment basis, you load money onto the card which can then be used in the eateries around campus! The scheme also gives you 10% off your order when buying from the Hub Restaurant.

How does it work?

If you are a First Year Resident student then you are automatically enrolled into the scheme. Your DIS card is paid alongside your accommodation payments at the cost of £820. This means that even if your budgeting skills aren’t the best, you are still able to eat good quality, healthy food! You can also top-up the amount of your card by visiting the catering hatch.

To use the card, simply choose it as your payment method when you get to the till!

Do I have to take part in the scheme?

If you are a First Year living on campus then the card is obligatory.

Are there restrictions?

You are unable to buy alcohol or tobacco products with the card.
