In the second year of my degree, we had to get a total of 100 hours, after this had been reduced from 150 hours due to the COVID-19 pandemic hitting in the latter half of the year.
To get these hours I worked with the Raiders Wheelchair Basketball Team, helping them in both training and their matches. This was done before lockdown as sports teams where unable to train from March 2020.
I also achieved the needed hours by working as a BUCS therapist. This was mostly done before the lockdown following government guidelines where teams where still able to take part.
