In a society ever-more conscious about the environment, the buying of second hand clothes and ‘thrifting’ has grown in popularity. It has seen the rise in use of websites like ‘Vinted’ and ‘Wallapop’ as well as visits to charity shops. The re-using and passing on of clothes is no longer frowned upon, but is seen as being cool.
Big Sister Swap is a service that allows you to swap some of your unwanted clothes, in return for some clothes brand new to you. The process is not dissimilar to that of ‘Depop’, where you can buy someone’s now unwanted clothes, only the clothes you are receiving are a surprise.
When beginning the swap, you have a choice of three different size parcels, 1kg, 3kg and 5kg. 1kg is a good starting size, or if you don’t have many clothes that you don’t want to get rid off. 5kg is perfect if you want a whole wardrobe makeover and radio.

Fill out the style form! You can give us as much or as little info as you’d like, and you can attach reference photos too. Your stylist will use this to select clothes for you.

Send your unwanted clothes
You’ll be sent a prepaid postage label, to then post your unwanted clothes to them, hassle free.

Clothes begin to get picked!
As soon as your clothes have been received, stylists begin handpicking items for you, based on your personal preferences.

You receive the selection in the post, with a personalised note from your stylist.
