Plymouth Marjon Christmas Break

Students are starting to pack their belongings to go back home, as the first term is coming to an end. What will campus be like?

At Marjon University, the campus is always lively with lots of exciting events and activities going on, however, over the Christmas break it may become very quiet.

Majority of students and staff will go back home to spend quality time with their friends and family over Christmas as lectures are finishing up. This will affect those that are staying, as they will quickly feel lonely and could unfortunately put a toll on their mental health.

The Christmas break is always a huge struggle for students here at Marjon for many reasons. Not only for the fact that it is lonely, but money is also a huge struggle over this period. With the next load of student loan coming out, everyone is running out of their last chunk of money. This is a huge issue for some of the students as they must turn to the reduced isles in supermarkets and maybe even cause them to cut down on their calorie intake.
