Accessing Your University Email Account

First weeksThe University uses student email accounts as its primary form of communication with you. It is ESSENTIAL that you check your University email on a daily basis. Please also remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that your inbox has enough memory to receive incoming vital information.

Further information on accessing your University email will be provided at your compulsory Learning @ Marjon session. (Your Induction schedule can be found once you complete online enrolment). There are also a number of guides available in the email section of our FAQs page.

If you experience any problems with your email, click here for information about possible causes and how to contact Computing and Media Services.

Library

During Registration students will be provided with their University Card. You will need your card to use the Library’s services and facilities and to use the University’s multi-functional devices to print, photocopy and scan.

The University Library aims to provide you with all the resources you need for your studies. As well as print and electronic resources there are a range of study spaces to fit your needs. Our staff also offer support with research enquiries and run training sessions to enable you to get the most out of our resources.

Get Online

Wireless Internet access is available across the campus. Click here for information on how to connect to MarjonWiFi

Please note it is ESSENTIAL that you read through the ICT-CODE-OF-PRACTICE and comply by the rules set out in the document.

Get Involved

Getting used to a new environment is not always easy but the best way is to get involved.

There are a range of volunteer opportunities, both one-off and longer-term with local charities.

There are also opportunities with the Student Union, just pop into their office or check out their websiteFacebook Page or Twitter to find out how to become a Student Rep, join or start a society or club, volunteer with the Student Union, or get involved in their events!

The Chaplaincy also has a range of volunteering opportunities and holds regular social events for students. Many of the events they hold are not faith related, but they always include food! More details can be found on their Facebook Page.
