Interior design styles are something to take under consideration when decorating your house because as it so often happens it can get frustrating choosing the right decorative elements. If you have a hard time deciding how to approach the interior design of your house or maybe your not sure of your tastes and are afraid you might screw it up, you can always choose from a selection of established interior design styles and go with the one you feel suits you best.
Here are a few examples of interior design styles and their characteristic elements.

English Country English Country is a relaxed, comfortable style, an interpretation of traditional English design. Living bright colors that evoke a garden and the powerful textures of wood, stone, and iron link the interior to the exterior. Textiles include embroidered rugs, fabric with floral prints and blankets with fringes. The furniture has tones that range from shiny black to the color of pine. Refreshing, floral colors. Rustic interiors have more faded colors, while the bright and vivid palette can be found traditionally in most interiors. Among the accessories are silver-framed photos, crystal candlesticks, vases with fresh flowers, floral embroidered pillows, wallpapers.
The Mediterranean Originally from the countries from northern Mediterranea, like Spain, Greece, Italy, is often called the modern Spanish style. The furniture ranges from simple and functional to formal and superficial. Small pieces with ornate legs and often antique hardware. The walls are predominantly textured. The colors are that of the Mediterranean sea and sky, terracotta and lavender. Mosaic often adorns the Mediterranean interiors, the floors, the walls or even table tops. Textures – layers of paint with a delicate look of manual work and intentional errors, textures similar to the sand, which adds visual depth.
Romantic A comfortable style that appeals to the senses with floral patterned soft materials, painted furniture, drapes and floral arrangements. Femininity is the key to a room decorated in a romantic style. The colors are stumped tones, pale – pale blue, antique pink, creamy white. The materials are soft and vapoury. Silk should be ranked first.
Tuscan style decorated interiors contain a rustic, sun-drenched look characterized by stone floors, simple furniture, and the elegant iron elements. The walls are painted with textured models and drawings in oil. The colors are reminiscent of the Tuscan hills. Brown, dark pink, navy, and burgundy. The floors are made of terracotta tiles, mosaic stone and boarded floors. Accessories consist of candles with a metal stand to recall the rustic theme. Painted Ceramics. (https://guide-house.com/)
Contemporary The contemporary style includes all the trends of the late twentieth century. Soft lines, rounded shapes. The interiors contain neutral elements, but also bright colors and focuses on the simplicity of line and shape. Interiors are limited to tone-over-tone combinations, with shades of brown, cream and pure white. Strong stains of color are often found on walls, carpets and art objects. The design of lighting objects turns them into works of art. Lamps have straight lines and metal finishes. Furniture – pieces with clean lines, fine outlines, surfaces without sculpture or ornaments. Light colored wood, maple or sycamore, with accessories from stained glass, steel, nickel or chrome. Natural fabrics such as silk, wool or cotton, are used for their texture and neutral shades. However, brightly colored patterns are found in carpets or pillows.
Obviously, there are many more interior design styles. These are just a few classic examples but we all know that if you go with a classic choice you can’t fail. Choosing the right style from the multitude of interior design styles out there doesn’t have to be a stressful experience. Have fun with it! Remember it’s all about imagination and daring.

I’ve been using Contabo for more than one year now with several VPSes, and honestly, I cannot really say much bad about them, their server rocks! and this my contabo review
At first, we purchased a mechanical disks VPS, and that’s not really the best. It’s rather slow, mainly on IO. We run a low priority ISPConfig panel there, and MySQL sometimes takes times to return results, and apt installations can take more than expected.
After that, we purchased only SSD VPSes and they’re very fast. With SSD hosts IO responds very fast.
Other than that they give you plenty of RAM, 100M symmetric connectivity (not throttled, per my experience, though I never tested them with unfair usage).
The only problem I had with them is the IPv6 connectivity: sometimes I’ve had reachability problem, usually on a single SSD VPS. But these interruptions have been rare, and usually resolved within a day.
Support is ok, they respond via email within a few hours, 24/7. Their first level support is a little basic (like for most services) if they cannot fix they escalate. There’s also phone support available but I never tried.
Drawbacks of using Contabo:
- they don’t provide backups: if your VM crashes or whatever they don’t have a backup solution, not even they offer one. If you have SSD VPSes you have
- snapshots available, but they also say with no guarantee and are kept for a limited number of days;
- you can purchase backup space, but according to the guide it’s available via FTP only and it’s very expensive, more than buying another VPS with the same space! Amazon S3 is more friendly by all means;
- I never investigated but you probably don’t have high availability for VPSes, that is if a hardware node fails.
- Out of curiosity, they use Proxmox and KVM virtualization.
To recall your first question I still have to understand how they can be so cheap. They’re incomparable to any other VPS service around!
If the idea of raising chickens appeals to you then this article could be for you. Next it would be advisable to decide on what materials you will want to be using in the construction of the chicken coop. Don’t panic and run down to the local builders yard to shell out hundreds of dollars on certain wood types because you will probably have a lot of what you need in your shed or in your basement. Even the medium that you will spread over the chicken coop floor is easy and cheap – wood chips or straw/hay.
Chicken coops are typically a chicken ( house ) or shed and a chicken to outside the shed. The chickens will tend to lay their eggs and roost inside the chicken pen. Flexibility
Flexibility is you plan’s ability to adapt to the different needs of your clients, crew and operation. These changes may be something which concerns menu, type of service, dining room or kitchen configuration. A good application of flexibility is by using movable walls or partitions. Through this the restaurant may easily adapt with different reservation or event sizes.
Simplicity
Simplicity can be applied in a number of ways. Simplifying the menu by reducing the items will make the kitchen set up simple. It will also help your crew to execute recipes better, and more consistent. You can also make the arrangement of the tables in the dining room simple so that aisles would feel more comfortable and organized.
Flow
Flow is the traffic in your restaurant. Traffic of customers, personnel, and materials. It is a very critical point in your floor plan: in the dining room, and especially in your work area.
It is important that you build a diagram before actually making your floor plan as it will help you determine what falls to where so that you end up with an efficient plan.
Here are a few points to consider:
Movement of employees from one section of the kitchen to another.
Flow of dishes through the dish washing system and back to the service area.
Flow of customers from the entrance to the cocktail lounge and/or to the main dining room.
Flow of all materials to minimize cross traffic of dirty items and clean items
Sanitation
Aside from using only non corrosive materials for the work surfaces, one thing you have to remember is to set a space for trash bins for easy waste disposal. Trash bins in restaurant kitchens are too huge a factor to ignore. There must be at least one adjacent for every strip of work tables in your kitchen floor plan.
Supervision
How do you make your area easy to supervise?
Open type of design
No partition for easier movement and communication.
Avoid different floor levels of production area for easier supervision.
Half wall between departments (hot, cold, pre preparation, etc.) Â to define work spaces.
Space Efficiency
In planning the kitchen, we cannot just draw tables and equipment the way we want it. That will not yield and efficient plan. We must know what space is needed by the personnel and what is not. Listed below are the common components of an efficient work space.
Work surface (table)
Food prep sink
Hand wash sink (yes, separate from the food prep sink)
Cutting surface
Storage for utensils
Storage for pans
Storage for raw ingredients
Storage for the finished product
Proper aisle space for movement
Now that you’re done with the basic principles of design, next thing you will need are dimensions, standard measurements and most especially, space requirements. Always keep these principles in mind and stay guided. Remember that there must always be a reason for every line you make.
