PREMIER LEAGUE WEEKLY TRANSFER ROUND-UP

Premier League clubs haven’t been that active in the January transfer market so far, although some deals have been made. Let’s have a look at all of the latest deals made in the last week…

Chelsea have been the busiest out of the Premier League clubs so far, bringing in 23-year-old Joao Felix on loan from Atlético Madrid for £9m, along with Benoit Badiashile who they signed from Monaco on a seven-and-a-half-year-contract for around £35m. They also signed David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos.  

Aston Villa confirmed their first signing of the window, with full-back Alex Moreno joining from Real Betis in a deal worth £13.3m, who will be providing competition for Lucas Digne. Unai Emery has said to also wanting to bring a winger with him to Villa Park.

Southampton have confirmed their first signings of the window, with World Cup semi-finalist Mislav Oršić joining from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb, in a deal worth £8m, the 30-year-old has signed a contract until the Summer of 2025. New boss Nathan Jones also confirmed another signing, with midfielder Carlos Alcaraz joining the side from Racing Club in a £12m deal.

Whilst Manchester United signed keeper Jack Butland on loan from Crystal Palace.
