Before starting placement today, I need to be more aware of the technical langue when speaking to the participants as I’m using words they cannot understand yet so when explaining my warm up drill. Today as we are working on the proper running technique, I needed to read up on the certain movement types.

Today when I was delivering my warmup a participant started to play up by shouting out and being silly. this caused me to become flustered and lose confidence the head coach of the day saw this and decided to step in which has really put me down which really put me down and am starting to struggle with my confidence again.

Similar to last week we carried on our multi skills sessions with looking at running today Learning the fundamentals was the key part today. The warm up’s were stuck in the mud moving on to development of running and putting it into practice. After school club wasn’t on today.

The activities we’re very basic and just looked at developing the movement are running while the participants seemed to enjoy it I felt we could have done more to advanced the technique.

In conclusion I felt like today wasn’t my best day as I let a stupid mistake lower my confidence I will take this into account next time and look up appropriate ways to deal with a participant misbehaving.
