Welcome to my Blog,

I will be writing my placement details from my unit PSED90, enjoy.

During my placement, I went to two different types of schools. Firstly, I visited The Bishop of Winchester Academy (TBOWA) in Bournemouth where I helped the PE department during the Christmas period.  My start dates were the 12/12/2017 to the 20/12/2017. To read about my time at TBOWA please click here. I gathered a total 60 hours at TBOWA, helping out with football, basketball, trampolining and revision clubs after School.

I then decided to visit a Primary school, which I thought would be a great chance for me to see what it’s like to teach other ages and abilities. The Primary School was in Plymouth and was called Shakespeare Primary School. I was mainly in a year 4 class, were we look at various subjects and wasn’t PE focused like TBOWA. In this classroom-based experience, from working in a Primary school I learnt lots of different teaching styles and ways of getting children enthusiastic about learning.
