Transient Osteoporosis of the Hip- Research- 4hrs

For these hours we were tasked to research a specific injury (all with our own injury to research) and write about it including pathophysiology, Aetiology, treatment, Objective/clinical markers, and special considerations for women. This was a great piece of work to research for me, not only did I not know about transient osteoporosis of the hip I did not know anything about the special considerations for women which was the main part of our research.

Here is the PowerPoint of the information I collected through my research and presented in the clinic among my peers for the following weeks, we used spare hours during the next few weeks to present our work to the clinic and also listen to others presenting their findings of the other injuries they had researched.
